I don't know, I am the class clown at times, pretty much always mouthing off to teachers and making snarky remarks at the work, but I don't think it's a trait of AS at all. It may be a trait of ADHD.

I love to make people laugh, and it's great to get that attention and acceptance, but I was under the impression that most Aspies would rather keep quiet and not get everyone focusing on them. I do it because I know that classmates will be laughing with me and not at me - but I don't know how true that is for everyone else with AS.
