Just a few minutes ago, I got an e-mail from my school saying I was accepted into the Mortarboard Society, which is the university equivalent of the National Honor Society in high schools.

If anyone has been in any high school or college honor societies, is there any advice you could give me on this?

I was invited to Phi Theta Kappa, which is the college honor society. I'm not sure what advice I can give you though, other than it might look good to put on your resume when you apply for an internship.

Also, there are many scholarship opportunities in college/university honor societies, so if you are in debt and need money, it's a good place to get scholarships.
