I also collect anything and everything related to cats (stuffed animals, figurines, cat jigsaw puzzles, etc.)

I've always liked things not intended for my age or gender.

Our cultural standard is a little slanted. It's perfectly okay for girls to like boy things; the problem is when boys like girl things. Then parents freak out and think something is wrong with their son.

Who cares?

Ok...well when my male cousin was about 6 years old, he used to dress up in my grandmothers skirts and shoulder pads etc. His father always used to yell at him for this. When I dressed up as a male superhero [batman I think it was]...everyone just said I was "cute".

I have indeed noticed the difference that it's less acceptable for males to be interested in "female activities" than it is for females interested in "male activities".

Who cares?...well I don't.

It's an ASD thing:

Not caring about certain perceptions of self compared to society's social and chronological restrictions in relation to one's interests; a lack of care for the same [social] age restrictions.

I'm 25, and have been wanting to settle, get married, have kids for years.
