And do you give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down?

The last movie I saw was "Fast Food Nation". Most of the stuff in it, I already knew but it was still very interesting. I am now reading "Chew on This". It was written by the same author whose info. they based film on.

The Simpsons Movie on DVD

My nose started to bleed because I was laughing too hard.

Chinatown.

Completely neutral. There was nothing wrong with it, but nothing good about it either.

In theaters... Cloverfield. It was a nice change of pace and wasn't agonizingly long as some of the recent movies I saw. I liked it, but I could definitely see why some people wouldn't.

I am Legend I like the book better, but the movie was decently good. I am gleefully addicted to post-apocalyptic movies, zombie movies, and Vampire movies, and this movie is a little of each... so needless to say I can't miss it.

Galaxy Quest: Big thumbs up. 'nuff said.

and before that, Deja Vu: Didn't confuse the hell out of me quite as much as I expected it to. I know what the moral of this story is. Never let Denzel Washington behind the wheel of an armoured vehicle.

Theaters: Be Kind Rewind. I went to see it because i'm a fan of Gondry and I hoped that it wouldn't wind up as a big, Hollywood comedy. It wasn't but was still disappointed. It's no "Eternal Sunshine" (I know its an unfair comparison as both are so unlike one another), but it was alright (about 3.5-4/5)

DVD: "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford". Fantastic movie.

Flock of Dodos, about the evolution vs. intelligent design debate. The filmmaker is a trained evolutionary biologist.

I highly recommend it.
