Season 13 of Red Dwarf which has a single "episode" which is a TV movie: "The Promised Land".

I'd recommend it for Red Dwarf fans. Anyone else might find it confusing or silly. I think any Red Dwarf fan would enjoy it.

(For the benefit of anyone unfamiliar with the Red Dwarf TV show... It is a BBC Sci-Fi SitCom with an IMDB user rating of 8.4. The story is slightly cumulative so it is best to start with Season 1 Episode 1 and work your way through it in order. And be prepared to laugh.)

Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla, followed by Terror of Mechagodzilla, happened to come across them on TV last night.

They should’ve had Ghidorah in them  Pretty standard fare for Godzilla and company movies, it seems to me (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, sometimes that’s exactly what I want to watch).

On the Beach [1959]

Excellent film. The 2000 TV remake is also quite good.

Fun Fact (although many have speculated otherwise): Shortly after the rights to all DC properties were sold to Warner Brothers, Orson Welles (yeah, for real) expressed interest in making a Batman movie with Gregory Peck as Batman.

I think I'm not going to think about that. I think. :silent:

Coming 2 America.

I was hesitant as I generally don't like reboots of old favourites, I don't like to ruin memories.
I actually found it quite entertaining! Quite a few of the original actors and a few old lines rehashed for old times sake. There was certainly a more contemporary feel to it. All in all it was a fun hour and a half watching.

Finally got around to seeing Blade Runner: 2049. Unlike many other sequels made long after the original, it actually felt like a meaningful addition to the original that expands the themes and story from the first. And it was drop dead gorgeous. I don't think I would've gone the way they did with the ending though. I think I'll have more thoughts when I see it again.
