looking for AS friendly High School in Jefferson County, CO

My 8th grade AS son (just recently diagnosed with high-functioning Asperger's) is making good grades in school, but trying to keep up with homework and projects is overwhelming him. I think sitting in class listening to lectures for 7 hours a day is taking all of his energy. I know it will get worse once he leaves Middle School and enters High School.

He is currently in a K-12 Charter school which doesn't seem to have many resources for kids like him.

Has anyone had good luck with any High Schools in Jefferson County? I'd like to hear your thoughts, ideas, and experiences.
