If there's any more, they start with the chit chat and never finish.

I bet NTs could screw in a light bulb better than autistics, because they won't have a sensory overload or meltdown while doing it.

Or (to continue the stereotyping) not as well, because they wouldn't be able to concentrate properly on the task at hand...

Ah, a 'we hate NTs' thread (my apologies to sartresue for stealing his thing). We should have more of these; what people have forgotten is that the easiest way to get self esteem is to actively debase others.

and I thought we aspies were supposed to be superior...

I'm NT and I found the thread hilarious!

Just as I find this website hilarious: http://home.att.net/~ascaris1/neurotypicality.html

Before I had my sons (who have Asperger's) I thought there was only one way of thinking/being.

Finding the Autistic/Asperger's community has taught me so much. 'NT bashing' makes me laugh because it points out my weaknesses/flaws and makes me think about what and why I'm doing things a certain way.

It has made me (I believe) a better and stronger person.

I don't know, but only 1 aspie, if I were the aspie involved.

However, I would end up putting it off until I needed light in that room. I would not remember where the bulbs were kept, where the ladder was, or even that my girlfriend asked me to change it.

She should know better than to ask me to do something while I'm busy with my interests. Thats why I bought a whiteboard to hang in the bedroom, so she could write down the things I need to do, if I could only remember where I put it.

One. Put two or more NTs in a room and you have a party.

Man, mine was lame. And I have a headache.

This is a trick question. The only thing NTs are interested in screwing are appearance-obsessed strangers they meet in gaudy nightclubs with loud, repetitive, mind-numbing music.

And creating posts like this makes you better than the people you are berating? Think again.

It only takes 1 NT to screw in a lightbulb, but on nights or weekend he'll charge you triple time plus mileage.....

hmmmm.... I think the bulb isn't the only thing getting screwed.....

Respondng to Mikomi,

I don't think the OP was berating NT's. It is just humor, after all.
