Scents I like: lemon, certain people :) , music buildings (the one here at my grad school smells exactly like the one in undergrad; and undergrad one was in NC and I'm in TX now), my knee, fresh bread, cake, most any kind of dessert (except rum cake), coffee, peppermint, WD-40, cedar . . .

yeah. Ever take a drive out in the country on a late spring day and all of a sudden, get a whiff of something and know there are cows nearby?

New books. (Except certain ones use a wierd kind of paper that smells icky. Used books smell bad too.)

New shirts.

Rain.

Running Water.

Dirt. And rocks. But only wet dirt, not dust.

Disneyland. Some rides even have their own unique smell. I especially like the watery smell of Pirates and the smokey smell of Indianna Jones.

Hotel rooms. (I know most are very dirty, but some of them smell very nice.)

Museums.

The smell of a WELL-TUNED engine, 2-stroke oil, and model car/plane fuel all evoke feelings within.
There's this weird artificial grape smell that does that to me too. Don't know exactly what it is and why.

Gasoline and cannabis are 2 of my favorites. New car smell's a big one. I also love "new videogame/electronics" smell.

The smell of cotton ... meaning that smell that 100% cotton clothing or bedsheets have several days after being laundered, then folded and left on the shelf with other cotton. Avon actually used to have a cologne that smelled just like it that was called like Cotton Shirt or something.

Also like wet dirt smell, creosote, cut grass, the smell from ponderosa pines which smells like vanilla and butter rum mixed together. And my deceased grandmother had a basement that had a weird smell that I loved as a kid. Apparently it was some sort of mold, but must have been a special rare mold that other houses don't get.

Oh! I almost forgot...I like that smell that comes from chainsaws cutting through trees. I think it comes from the sawdust not sure...and also like the smell after a wax candle is blown out.
