I'm also only allowed to use it once everyone goes to sleep, but that isn't much of a problem anyway...

Short bio: I was born and (mostly) raised in Toronto, Canada. I almost skipped a grade or two in elementary school, but they (not sure who...) decided not to let me because they felt I was too socially ret*d/impaired. When I started middle school my grades dropped, I turned into an absolute insomniac, and generally went nuts until I couldn't handle it anymore and packed up all my stuff and left.

Sometime in between then and now, I went on Wikipedia (trying to further entertain myself in the school library) and discovered AS through Craig Nicholls' page. That eventually led to my finding this site and beginning the process of seeking a formal diagnosis. I know not everyone feels the need for a Dx, but I'm the kind of person that does because I'll never believe myself. xD At the moment, I'm 18, live on a farm in a ridiculously small town in Quebec with my mum and her boyfriend (and his mother...who hates me for some reason), and am currently trying to decide what I'm going to do with my life. :3

The last time I was here was last August (when I was visiting my dad), but I never actually got around to making a "Hi, I'm new!" thread, so here it is.

Dial-up internet access is a pain in the (your choice of body part).
I know; I had to content myself with the poor man's Web for
several years (through Edmonton Community Network, formerly
Edmonton FreeNet). Videos on YouTube, for example:

Thank the Maker for higher-speed access
through Telus, as far as I'm concerned.
Anyhow, enough blabbing from a fellow Canuck, and welcome

Merci beaucoup! Fan of hockey/the Oilers by any chance? I used to have high-speed but the lines in the area are so old that they aren't capable of giving me anything but the snooze fest that is dial-up, and Bell isn't in any hurry to replace them. >_>
