Are symptoms worse sometimes? Better others? Oscillate?

If so, is it periodic, or chaotic?

If the latter, are there environmental triggers? Food, stress, etc?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Thank'ee kindly. :)

I've found my autism to be far, far noticeable now as an adult than ever in my life. And yes, there are certainly plenty of environmental triggers for me...

I'm worse when I'm stressed out or sick...definitely.

Environment plays a part in it also...if I'm not comfortable in my environment, I'm stressed.

Social unease has a very limiting effect on my life at certain times - then I may go through a few months of feeling really good. I'm sure there have been times in my life when I wasn't so tied to routine, either. This is why I'm currently doing CBT - whilst I'm always going to have problems, I can remember times when they weren't nearly so severe, and I believe I can get things back to a managable level given time.

Short answer - yes.
