What is the premise of the cowboy churches, which are often found in rural areas of the South, Midwest, and Rocky Mountain states?

What is the style of worship like?

If you ever attend a church service there, let me know. :sunny: It sounds interesting.

We in TN, another bible-belt, have a Harley-hog church, though I have never been to it. I heard the preacher speak of his "demons" and it seems to be a very positive culture. They play some freebird (with Bibles?) and other more Lynard Skinnard influences for worship.

This article isn't fully developed yet, but: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboy_church

I would call it a "cowboy-themed" Church. No clue about their theology, but their doxology sounds sort of fun (perhaps like Gather music?) Might be worth seeing what it's like there.

The preacher has a sawed off bike for a pulpit and revs it up to indicate the start of service.
