Yeah, it is. And it's terrible how many people--not children, not minors, but people--are forced to go through this for years, because of the belief that human beings must be owned for the first 18 years of their life. Y'know, to teach them learned helplessness, and turn them into a good, humble little worker bee.

well, I dont get why this is a big deal. Its sad, sure, but many people feel just like her and the daughter. (like me, I wanna go to heaven to right now)

Shes 8, that is not a good thing, guess we can blame human evolution for that.

I wouldn't automatically assume she has a medical problem, or that her daughter is depressed because of her, but it is still sad.
