ALWAYS had a thing for cars, and especially when I saw my first VW beetle at 5, it was ON. From the time I got my license I've never owned anything but a VW.
Full size, scale models, radio control ones... and one of the things I like to do while driving at night is to identify make/model by seeing the headlights approaching in the rear view mirror, or taillights as I approach. Good at it too.

<--- user name refers to my VW.

Lifelong? I'm forty-two... how long is lifelong?

let's see...

Music
writing
reading
Bulletin Boards

I'm pretty much lifelong at whatever I get into, inasmuch as it becomes obsessive, but sometimes things change and I give them up for other things.

Mostly nature and in consequence - some parts of natural sciences. Books, though it comes and goes. I read whenever I'm able to focus and the older I get, the less I'm able to focus.

Cats, for many reasons,if it wasn't for them; as a toddler,am would be even more LFA than am now, they give am an awareness-an awakening that humans do not.
Am have a deep connection with cats and have many of them as friends.
They are both an interest and obsession,am known locally,by community support police, family and staff as the cat woman.

Action figures, hands down.

I also have had a high fascination, since childhood, regarding top hats. Now that I know what they're associated with, I love 'em even more...and want one, eventually :)
