One of my cats is nicknamed 'Eek monster' on grounds that she doesn't meow so much as squeak - or eek in her case -
though she does occasionally growl upon hearing the doorbell.

When she was younger, my cat's meow sounded like the squeaking of a rusty door hinge. Now she sounds more like a regular cat.

Peter, my oldest male cat, who lived to be eighteen, was very shy and quiet when he was younger but, in his later years, he became quite a "talker."

I was talking to a friend today, and she showed me a picture of her cat, Sam. I told her about my cat, Samantha. It was really nice.

My dog gets very defensive if he can see/hear someone (especially if it's someone with a dog) but not get to them. For some reason, it helps a lot if we simply open the windows in the car.

My crested gecko doesn't like to eat crickets once they get to the point where they develop wings - which is really annoying, because that's also the point at which they start to chirp.

My cat (who passed in May) loved to lick apple cores, and eat raw pumpkin.

When my dog has a drink, he starts with his tail up, and it slowly goes down as he drinks. I joke that when his tail touches his legs, his water tank is full
