Totem.

Shouldn't you have said "What is your favorite Windows Media Player"?

(BTW. It's "Amarok", which I have not particularly used, but also have installed, along with... about a dozen others.)

I go between VLC and Quicktime. VLC is nice, but it can be kind of unstable and sometimes has trouble with certain codecs or high-def video.

I use iTunes when my VLC is on the blink.

I find VLC Player to have the best compatibility.

Winamp for Windows, as there's a VST hostbridge plugin available which allows the usage of VST plugins. --I use parametric EQ, which is inherantly more useful than Winamp's graphic EQ.

For *nix type systems, XMMS is functional.

On Linux, I usually use mplayer and XMMS.

(On the rare occasion I use W|n|)0wz, I use VLC.)

Winamp, but I have a soft spot for Windows Media Player 9, and iTunes is OK.

Not really, he's asking what you prefer using, and my answer would be Media Player 7 too, but I can no longer rip files the way I used to as my optical disc drive gave up a long time ago, and you can't replace those, however frustrating it is. I hate downloading tunes, I'd rather use the traditional option of a c.d.
