I try to open up, be assertive, communicate properly. I've become assertive.... but after years of practice, it's like I still can't communicate worth a crap.

Online is almost just as bad. People start ignoring my PMs for no apparent reason, and it makes me reflect what I might have said wrong, and the failure is on repeat in my head.

I'm very close to giving up on people completely.

Your PMs may not be ignored. Some people only can get online occasionally.

Sometimes I sent PMs and will get a reply a few weeks later.

I completely agree. Although I usually reply back on time, I've been known just to forget to reply to an e-mail because I was busy with something else while on the internet. It doesn't mean I don't like the person!

ok then be depressed forever. I've been down that route, it's no good. People like me more, when i have a positive attitude. It's hard for me but it's slowly working despite not much changing I just feel better about myself. But if you want to moan about not having friends be my guest. I've done it myself.

I still think you should grow a beard

Practise makes perfect, always tryed to go by that one.
