Well if you want to know the names for the sake of it:

The Unnatural: baseball story directed by Duchovny
Triangle: the bermuda triangle story obviously :) directed by Carter
Jose Chung's From Outer Space: about the writer which is my favourite episode written by Darren Morgan
The Post Modern Prometheus: the Cher one also directed by Carter

they were all pretty cool episodes

I didn't really like unruhe all that much, I thought it was a bit of a weak episode. It did have some okay moments though, like the tall legs bit.

Hmmm... I've always really liked Unruhe. But that might be because I first watched it when I was OBSESSED with Schizophrenia. So my like might be more akin to a residual effect from that.

Right now, Scully has just found out about her cancer. "I'm sorry. You have something I need." (Leonard Betts)

my main problem with unruhe is that it seemed to be a bit of an idea that had to be stretched and padded out to make up a full episode length. There are a few others like that. It has good elements like I said, but when compared with the best episodes of the series, it is weak.

I love that line in the Leonard Betts episode, that's classic. The writers seemed a bit smug about how clever it was on the DVD special features though.

Still, it's a classic omen of things to come.

I've noticed there are quite a few episodes with human "freaks" of nature who need to consume something of the human body in order to survive.

Anyone else noticed that trend (no need to ask mjs since I'd assume a "yes" will be coming from his direction without delay)?

Sophist,
Yes,
I agree with you. There seemed to be a lot of the freaks who needed human body parts to survive. I also mention Hungry, Leonard Betts, Tooms, and Too Shy I believe.

PS: I hope they do make another X-Files movie but would prefer it to be a stand alone episode style rather than more mythology stuff.

I heard that's what they're considering.

*goes and watches How the Ghosts Stole Christmas in lieu of Christmas even though it'll be out of order with the Files marathon*

Just rewatched Tempus Fugit & Max again, it's like a mini-movie, I love it.

HUMBUG IS MY FAVORITE! I'm completely obsessed with the parasitic twin villain! I think it's named Leonard.
