Are there Any Aspies here from North Alabama?

I have this serious problem with trying to make friends because I often have bad social experiences when I try...so I figure that I would ask a North Alabama Aspie if there are any suppourt groups you know of.

I can't speak for AL, but here in north MS there isn't much at all.

i'm from anniston, al and let me say i have been also searching for services and there is just not much offered. I try to talk to vocational rehab and they sent me to an mental health counselor which has no clue about asperger's or autism and i have to show him an website to learn about asperger's. people in the south don't like to help people with asperger's and that hurts me and other people trying to get help.

I'm from Huntsville. My boyfriend and I both have it. (a complete coincidence)
I only know of this site for support, but you're welcome to chat to us if you need any advice or just want to talk. :wink:
