Check out "Street of Crocodiles" by the Brothers Quay on youtube. Stop animation. Amazingly beautiful, creepy and disturbing as anything. I'm currently obsessed. The music is amazing too.

I wonder if that's somehow related to AS? When I was in 8th grade, I was OBSESSED with the Manson family and the murders they committed. Not normal 13 year old stuff, I think.

I've always been fascinated with the strange and unusual and like someone else mentioned, I'm fascinated with apocalyptic writings. Things like global catastrophes, the rapture, superviruses, etc. I wonder why that is?

That stuff is cool. Really dark and depressing things can be so beautiful to me.

I am quite fascinated by atomic detonations, and I would think that falls into the "scarry" category.

Of course! Ever wondered how long you could survive in a vacuum?

Or how long a guillotined head remains conscious?

I like to watch this one a lot. Then I sing the song over and over and over again.

Now I've been waiting for question like this b/c I feel like the only freak when it comes to freaky or morbid obsessions.

I too am obsessed with things pertaining to ghosts, mummies, murderers (I don't look up to them BTW), that show they played on HBO called Autopsy (Everyone thought I was crazy for watching it.), Cold Case Files, and the preservation of bodies which is basically like mummification only a little different.

Um...I meant the other mummy.

Unless there are mummies who look like mummies I hope this pic avoids further confusion.

I first started getting into murders around twelve or so, whenever the movie From Hell came out. Right now my favourites to study about are the Manson Family, Jack The Ripper, and the Zodiac Killer.

I'm such a crazy cat lady that I took issue with a children's book that identified what I believed to be a Calico as a tortoiseshell.
