Back in '06, I started making these fake error messages as a way of expressing my frustration with certain things software does. For example, here's one that I made after working with a particularly buggy new program:

Here's one that mocks an incredibly annoying message from back in the Firefox 1.5 days:

And finally, here's the tools I used to make these:
Atom Smasher's Error Message Generator
Create your own error message
(The second one's more realistic, but the first one has more variety)

Superb, Jamie06.

Please could you show the options for BSoD?

The first post has links to a couple of error-message generators.

And I have to ask, history_of_psychiatry - does Tom Cruise really know you as well as he says he does?

LOL. I don't totally disagree with what cruise said, but he took it to an extreme. I'm on psych drugs that have saved my life. However, psychiatry is a very ignorant field. Yes, psychs used to give lobotomies and shock treatment. But these days they don't give lobotomies (usually) and shock treatment is done in a more painless manner (i hope). Psychs are rather dumb though. They just sit in a chair all day handing out prescriptions. Unlike other doctors, they don't do any actual examining. It would be much different if they gave you meds based on what CAT scans and MRI's showed. BTW, I love steely dan.
