Polystyrene foam pieces rubbing against each other, or anything else for that matter.
It's like it's attacking every fibre of my being. The sound (And feel too) makes me feel physically sick. If I touch it, it's almost unbarable. It's ok to look at, as long as the sound isn't made and I don't touch it.

- Nails on fabric, especially on jeans, plus my tics/compulsions make me want to lick the patch that has been scratched (although I can't obviously so I just have feel a bit sick and very tense!)
- Timers that just keep on going and going like on the cooker and washing machine ('OKAY I'M COMING!')
- Heavy bass beats e.g. when someone drives round in their car playing load rap or bass music through loud speakers and causes the floor to vibrate
- Rap
- Dry-sounding music with a heavy drum beat ('TURN IT OFF!') plus anyone else's loud music/music through headphones where it sounds all tinny to eveyone else in the vicinity
- Ice cream van chimes ('shut UP!')
- I've laready mentionned metal on glass or metal on metal, but forks are much worse than spoons. I hate it when my brother makes the noise on purpose, just to see me squirm, cover my ears and shout at him
- Children, especilly babies crying. Newborns are the worst. How can you love a little wrinkled red thing making a deafening, sickening noise that could in no way be described as pleasant?
- Nails tapping on a desk. It's annoying with fingers, but the noise itself isn't too horrible
- Nails being picked with nails making a horrible clicking sound, especially if they're fake nails

I'm sure there are more.

I hate when I can hear a fluorescent tube whining, and I cannot relax if I hear a noise until I have identified where it's coming from.

distant....repetitive/pattern/vibrating/pulsating sounds (especially at night):
drilling
a clock ticking
washing machine (this one drives me insane, as I can hear it from anywhere in the house).
fans
snoring

I can't stand repetitive noise that goes on and on and on...

I HATE bass-driven rap, I mean crap. Those people don't deserve to live.
