Call him Mruczek :D - here where I live it's a traditional name for a cat because "mruczec" (spelled without a diacritic sign) means here "to purr" :D

Tortishell cats are female.

How about Gizmo? My cousin had a torishell cat with that name.

I have two feral tortoiseshell sisters named Zwenner and Drenner. The names are of German origin, with roots in Greek, and come from an old German counting rhyme: "Enner, Zwenner, Drenner, Fieber, Faber, Uncker, Buncker, Peter, Paulos, Peps."

It is amazing how all of my cats' names have fit them. I don't believe that names are actually destiny, but it is funny how fitting the names have been, given their personality (PURR-sonality!) and appearance.
