What's your favorite word processor, and why?

I like TextEdit, as it's easy to use, and a great alternitive to Word.
And I also like pico, because it's simple, easy to use, and just darn cool.

Neither TextPad nor pico is a word processor.

First, it's TextEdit, and second, I know niether is a word processor, but like I said earlier:

Does LaTeX count? :D

Yes, as any word processor/text editor/typesetter, etc.

(g)Vim works for me for most things that I want to do, but OpenOffice is nice for WYSIWYG. I've started getting into LaTeX (with the TIPA package) for when I want to use IPA characters that I can't be bothered to find in the character map, though. But I use Vim to edit the .tex files, so count that where you will.
