Hugs for skibum and Phosphorous Decree.

Maybe Trueno if I can track him down reliably.

I’m as elusive as the Pimpernel. Truth is, my lurking:posting ratio is suspect at best. I would like to return the hugs to Isabella and also to AnonymousAnonymous (because everyone likes to hug AnonymousAnonymous).

Actually, I would like to hug everyone. I lost a friend on New Years Day. She was 10 years younger than me and fell ill and died within the space of a week (sepsis). The shock was profound, so everyone look after yourselves for 2023 and beyond.

Half price, New Year special offer. ;-)

Or, three hugs for the price of two. :P

Trueno, I'm so sorry.
I have no words for tragedies like that.
May she rest in peace.

Sending condolences to you and everyone who loved her.

Thanks for that. She has quite a young family, teens and twenties and a mother and father who aren’t that much older than me.

I can't even imagine. ^

Was she ill prior to the sepsis?
Pneumonia?
Other health conditions?

This started at Christmas?

My dad had sepsis and went into a coma, but came out of it.

Over the last few years she had some weird medical condition which she didn’t say much about. She was also one of those people who was always on the go, she seriously needed to slow down. She had a cough and cold on Christmas Day and went downhill from there. Probably developed into pneumonia and then sepsis.

That's certainly a wake-up call to us all, about slowing down.
Cherish the ones we love.

Sending prayers for you and her family.

All prayers gratefully accepted.

The wake up call is the big message, I think. So renewed hugs to everyone.
