It's always the same: I post a message, reread it and find tons of spelling/punctuation/grammatical/semantical/pragmatical errors, and also lots of paragraphs that don't sound right or are not written clearly and succintly. On average, I'd say I end up making no less than 3 edits per post, since I always find something wrong with my posts right after I hit the submit button. I also like to make sure that I edit my posts quickly and before anyone replies, because I don't want text at the bottom of my post indicating the number of times my post has been been edited.

Are you also like this?

Sure. Too bad you can't do that with spoken language. Or a course of action. The ability to edit and reedit would make James Bond out of all of us. Wouldn't that be exciting?

Yes, I do that with every other post it seems. Why can't I just have everything I want to say down the first time? :?

I edit my posts several times before posting them. Occasionally, I also edit them once or twice after posting.

I sometimes spot a spelling mistake in one of my posts and then, if it's less than 1 day ago, I'll correct it.

Sometimes, I also add information to clarify what I meant. Especially if a sentence could refer to two things, then I clarify which one the statement is directed at.

I do it all the time.

I hate non PHPBB forums where they ALWAYS say "edited" at the bottom.

I also hate how the anti spam measures always make me wait to edit my posts

Same.

Same here. I always preview multiple times before posting, but then I usually still need to edit it afterwards.

When reading back old posts, I usually want to edit those too, but the possible "edited" message (and of course the fact that most boards don't let you edit old posts) usually keeps me from doing that.

(@sgrannel:) and if I could also edit my spoken language I would certainly do that all the time too!
