Salutations,
I was born in 1962, making me neither a baby boomer or Gen X'er. I like being unique in this way. I'm also grateful I found this board. I made my first post tonite...

1987 in my case. Can't call myself an 'Eighties child', but technically I am one, so it really doesn't matter.

1988. I can't call myself an eighties child, either, as I don't remember any of it. I am, however, definitely a nineties kid.

25/10/1979.

Five months into Maggie Thatcher's rule, which was probably an omen.

I decided to poke my head out during Mastermind on TV, which given my penchant for general knowledge, was definitely an omen.

I was born on the same day as Pablo Picasso, not the same year obviously. And the Battle of Agincourt was fought on the same day too.

Oh yes, if you count the old calendar dates (Julian rather than Gregorian), the Russian Revolution was also on October 25...

1988. Year of the dragon. Also one of the historical people that enthralls me, Mala Zimetbaum, who helped people in Auschwitz and escaped but was caught, had the number 19880. So now my birthdate reminds me of her.

I was born in 1971. I think I'm the only one who's posted so far. I'm definitely a Gen X'er. I could be cariacture for a Gen X'er.

Year of the Pig. I'm suppose to be creative, artistic, sensual, loyal, genuine, conscientious, as well as couragous, stubborn, peace-loving but not one to be push too hard. Apparently "pig people" make fierce opponents when you tick them off.

1966 the year England beat Germany in the World Cup
(The soccer one, for you Americans).

That makes me a fire horse in chinese astrology.

1956

The year that the first hard disk (5MB) was invented by IBM. I didn't get my first 5MB hard disk until around 1984.
