Anchovies always work good on the bottom
but they get hidden in muck, fall off the hook
and uniced will turn to pudding in a tackle box.

I made some dough

beef beef bullion
garlic powder (lots)
peanut butter
soy sauce
rum
and enough APF to solidify it

it works good on 5 and 6 pounders
I caught a large mouth on it too, but
more than anything, I want it to float

Im thinking that floating it on a light brass treble about a foot or so off the bottom will increase my odds. Get it up there off the bottom where the cats will bump into it.

what can I add to float it?

sawdust tastes like wood. Marshmallow will disolve too fast and wouldnt mix well anyway. I really dont want to burn my robo coup up spinning styrafoam but thats what im down to styrafoam

is there a better way?

at this point Im willing to consider anything
I will remake it from scratch and add gold
glitter if I have to.

This is the Catfish forum right?
