I'd thank him for creating WrongPlanet and that this site has made a tremendous difference in my life.

But thanks, Alex! :D

Thanks! I actually happened to be in NYC the day you wrote that.

I'd murmur "Hi" and not look directly at him, unless he wanted to talk about - okay, listen to me talk about Bae Yong Joon, Disney, the Tudor dynasty or Theme Park origins.

After thanking him you could ask him how to overcome forum addiction.

I would fall flat on my face in reverent worship... nah, just kidding. I'd probably introduce myself to him and we'd get into a conversation about something. What that something is, I do not have a clue.

So Alex, if you're ever in the Arlington, TN area, do drop by.

"Are the rumours about the third testicle true?"

JOKE JOKE JOKE.

I'd probably say, "Wow, hi Alex. Didn't realise you were in the UK."

I'm not sure what I would say. I'm grateful he made the site, but out of all the people I want to meet here, he's not one of them (I don't think I've ever talked to him online)

I'd say:

"Hey Alex, good to meet you. I've enjoyed your site immensely!"

If he didn't want to talk, I'd leave him alone. If he did want to talk, I'd ask him what music he likes and what his biggest obsessions have been. If he was feeling really talkative, I might ask about his plans for future endeavors or the future of this site, if he seemed to want to talk about that stuff. If that seemed to stress him out, I'd try to say something funny to make him laugh. And then I'd walk away.

My avatar says, "See ya, Alex!"

I feel the opposite, in the sense, that he probably wouldn't want to meet me, whatever is the case I would.....

I would shake his hand and say "You sir, are a hero for making this site for so many people that are misunderstood to be understood." :D

Whilst trying to hide the Alex altar behind my back, I would distract him with half clever banter and then introduce myself.

If he spoke first, I'd say hello. Otherwise, I'd probably just keep reading my book.

Thank Plank topic

I am always embarrassed  when I meet people in a crowd of others. If it was just us to, I would go right in to pick his brain. I am not good/am stiff with the small talk. I would be stimmy at first. it is easier to write out a greeting.

Alex, if you're ever in the Portland area,
I would like to meet you in-person!
