My watch is away for repairs....
I get disoriented if I don't know the time. I'm managing to get around that by carrying my alarm clock with me, but I don't feel properly dressed without my watch. It is one of my most prized possessions, second only to my clarinets and other instruments. I want it back NOW.

I know how you feel so often times I dont have my watch and my school seems to have like two clocks (one of which was on like the AC thing so I had to make sure to sit near it) in the entire place and it drives me crazy, but I also dont really like watches (the feel of mostly) so Im pretty much screwed either way.

I gave up wearing watches years ago! I the wrist straps a bit uncomfortable and would rather absent mindedly take the watch off and put it down somewhere without realising. I've lost several that way
Now I just stick with my trusty Palm - watch, alarm clock and todo-lists all in one... and too big to loose!
Lol, my vote would be to change one of the options so it would read "Yes, it is reasonable to lose your temper and start throwing things just because you can't find your watch." Some people would say I have an obsession with time. All the watches and clocks in my house are synchronized with the atomic clock so I know they're accurate. I really prefer digital watches, again for the accuracy, and my watch is set for 24-hour time because that always made more sense to me. Most kids learn how to tell time when they're... around 8 years old? (In school I think.) I demanded that my parents teach me when I was 4 years old because I couldn't stand not knowing what time it was. I was the only kid in my kindergarten class who wore a watch.
I to am nuts about my watch, I have to have it on me.....but in my house my husband likes to keep his alarm clock 15 mins ahead of all the other clocks. I hate this, it bugs me so much, I wish he would just leave them all set to the same time......

What if you got one of those watches that you can hook onto your belt loops or something like that? One of my history teachers a couple of years ago had one, and it seemed to work well for him. Granted, he was a bit peculiar, but...
I love my watch, too, and can't stand not knowing what time it is and being forced to ask.

I don't like to leave the house without my watch, so luckily I found a type of watch 15 years ago made by Casio that only costs about $25 and lasts about 5-7 years. I usually go through a couple of wristbands on each though, but those are cheap and abundant.

Well, it is back and fixed.
I carried my alarm clock around with me yesterday, but it just wasn't the same....
I did have a couple of cheap watches, but they stopped. And they didn't keep accurate time when the did work.
I like my watch!! !

Casio watches are nice. My dad has one that he's had for about 30 years. The battery has died and he's had to get both that and the watchband replaced more times than he says he can remember, but it's amazing how long watches can last. As for my watch, I had to get another wristband because the one it came with was a nasty velcro one.
