What would stop most people from traveling if they truly wanted to?

The closest cities to my school are Austin and San Antonio.

Huh? What? Really? This is shocking to me because I spent most of my life in Baltimore and visited both of those cities on occasion. Based on memory of travel time alone, I would guess that Philly is about 100 miles from Baltimore, and Pittsburgh is probably about 150 - 200 miles from Baltimore. But I was quite young at the time. Interesting.

My limiting factor is that nobody wants to meet me, regardless of how much money they have.

This is pretty much my only limiting factor... otherwise I'd be more than happy to visit my long distance friends.

I'd be willing to travel to anyplace in Europe, if only I had the funds.
