I could start listing off people I appreciate, but then others would feel left out.

I will say that although I appreciate my birds, I don't appreciate the presents they leave on my shirts.

BIRDS!!

Yes, you have peeked my interest, since well my current job is Ornithology-related.

I will assume the topic creator is Ben

If Ben appreciates Birds, than I will say I will appreciate Ben.

BTW, what parakeet are you not? The one that everyone except americans call Budgies, or something else like Monk or Rose-ringed?

Yes, I am Ben. I am generally not a parakeet, although my birds think I am. I'm their friend, but I am not a parakeet. I used to have budgies, but now I only have cockatiels. Right now I have a parrot on each shoulder, so I must be an admiral... :!:

Yes, I appreciate Ben for his many interesting language topics, and for OP-ing the Threadkillers thread, and allowing thread-stopping losers such as myself to have a place to lament, as well as to cheer each other up! :)

Cheers to you, iamnotaparakeet! :D

WHY DIDN'T ANYONE ANSWERE MY QUESTION???? :hmph:

Ben, I didn't know that was your name. You sound very well astute to your level of advancement on philosophical topics that at times it's a little intimidating just to talk to ya.

That's actually a compliment.

I second this. The Threadkiller Society is the first place I've ever truly fit in. I personally don't know him that well but I appreciate him for OPing that thread. :)

IamBenMichaelFournier topic

I like the way Ben shares his vast amounts of knowledge and his keen intelligence. One of the few Renaissance characters here at WP. His Latin language thread is superb. How many young people do you know who can teach themselves Latin? I think he was doing Hebrew as well. This guy is awesome. I learn a lot from him and I am more than thirty years his senior.

I do not have to pick his brain, as it picks itself. :D
