Do you experiance sound as having a particular color or texture in your mind or picture a bizarre landscape passing by when listening to Mozart? Or picture parabolas when you hear Jimi Hendrix's WaWa pedal or other lines/shapes for music?

Or do you experience certian numbers or letters this way

or textures having a color?

Or taste Colors?

Yep, the color-grapheme type (letters and numbers have colors). I also see colors and images when listening to music, but I'm not sure if that is really synesthesia because they often have to do with the color of the song title/artist name/name (for classical pieces).

I used to also have the type where numbers have personalities, but I must have lost it as I grew up... My sister used to have all the types I've mentioned except for music when she was a little kid (we would talk about it a lot), but now it's gone.

I am undiagnosed but when I see or think of a number, each one has its own shape, color, texture, and sometimes feeling and sound.
When I hear a sound, I see colors and textures and shapes.
When I see or hear or think of certain words, I feel certain things and see colors textures and sometimes shapes

The number 2 is my favorite number because it is like a lava lamp only with infinite shape, color, and texture possibilities. It is always changing. Right now it is bright with a 4 moving waxy blobs, two are green the other two are blue. But it is always the same size, medium-large

I don't have it that I'm aware of...

I sort of do this, but I've always attributed it to just simple imagination. A lot of music gives me the feeling of certain seasons, and sometimes I can't listen to music if it's not the right time of year for it.

I hear people talking in syllables if that makes sense.

An interesting book on this unique brain ability... Synesthesia... is, "Born On A Blue Day" by Daniel Tamment who was born and raised in Great Britain. Daniel is a remarkable person and his life's story very inspirational.

Check it out at your local library.

I would often say that some food tasted red, some food tastet green etc. when I was younger. I would also say that days were quadratic, and tell people how abstact terms "looked". I don't know if this equates to synthesia.

I said "Yes, Other" because I do it with both music/sound and letters/words.

On things that trips me is when I look at a pitcure, pattern, design or whatever I see something else that perhaps it not really is and im like WOW look at that but no one else see's it and i'm confused or not of what it really is or how it is supposed to be in the way that it was designed to and that of how every one else see's it.

The only thing I have that resembles synaesthesia is that I associate each month of the year with a gender.

January, March, August, October and December are male.
Febuary, April, May, June, July and November are female.
September is transgendered. :P

Apart from that, I don't hear colours, see music, associate numbers with personalities, or any of that stuff.

I can smell colour and hate synthetic smells. Especially the green ones.

Mostly with smell and sound . Flowery perfumes smell fluffy. I see music as shapes and colors.

I like pure notes, no vibrato. Vibrato ruins the wonderful smooth, liquid feel that I get from pure notes.

I also have a 'bottle taste.' In Sly Cooper 2, there are bottles that make a little clinking sound. They taste sugary.
