The Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 and E8400 have just been reduced in price, making them even better value than they already were. I still recommend the E8400 over the former, though.

use them for taking apart and installing weird things on, and have some docs in open office on one that need to be transfered, and also my motherboard only supports SATA and these are IDE

they all were 9x when i got them, they all but one, have physically huge hard disks
