What does it mean when people say that? It really confuses me.

I never heard that before. Maybe like expressing some one as perfect?

Hmm, quite probably. I used to think it was that they're implying I'm stinky whilst they are clean or something...
I'm sure that my previous perceptions are false, though. At least I hope so..
Your understanding seems like a logical one. Probably right.

"They ain't no flies on her" ~ "Her sh*t doesn't stink" ~ "She can do no wrong"

Fnord, is that a good or a bad thing? Also, is it sarcasm?

I've never heard the expression either? Is it a regional expression or something?

It depends on the context, but it usually is said sarcastically, as in "Oh, now listen to Miss Goody-Two-Shoes! As if you won't find any flies on her ... :?"

I've never heard that expression before either, but I think fnords explanation of something along the lines of "goody two shoes" or something similar is probably right.

Yes, it's a compliment. It's like saying someone's on the ball, if I may use another idiom.

^^

Quote:
"There are no flies on someone." Something that you say which means that someone is intelligent and able to think quickly. The minute she heard the business was for sale she was on the phone making an offer. There are no flies on her.

Well, that's a new one on me. Thanx! :)

Or maybe she does not have any flies on her? Maybe there is no hidden meaning?

Never heard it before.

Flies are known for landing on carcasses, and on excrement.

So (to me) saying that "there are no flies on you" would mean that you're not one of the two above things. Which is a rather low bar to be judged by!

Damning with faint praise.

Either sarcastic, or straight, it wouldnt convey much.

I have heard the term before but I did not know exactly what it means. I just thought she has no flies on her and thought nothing more of it.
Does it mean she keeps herself clean? But flies like clean people.

My Mum and I find it fun y when flies are attracted to people who use fly spray. We imagine flies come out the fly spray can and as one sprays it adds flies to wherever one sprays it. But we have a wierd sense of humour.

Like flea spray where one adds tiny invisible fleas as one sprays it.
