I'm off now - books are lying neglected. I've had a pc for two years and now need to reduce web time.

My couple of weeks here have been mostly enjoyable.

The web for me can in no way come anywhere near birdsong, landscape, country walks, being out in the wind, rain, sun or beneath the stars. This chair and this desk are very limiting. I have energy and I wish to use it.

I enjoyed the Wright Bros thread.

I was suprised at some of the grosser, ugly avatars, I had presumed all aspi's were quite sensitive.

Do you find my avatar gross or ugly? If it is to people, I'll change it. I actually find it quite beautiful, both from a design standpoint and symbolically. A bizarre genetic variation, alive, and apparently healthy. But, I suppose some could find it distasteful.

I can't immediately think of any ugly avatars....

Well see you around sometime later.

I can cope with all the above avatars, the ones that I find creepy are ott scifi / gaming stuff and a recent one i saw on wp which looks like someone s**t on the floor.

I like your avatar, Averick. Is that you? I like to know who I am talking at, or who is talking at me.
I also like your customized tag and location entries.

Ablomov, I am sad to see you go. I think the "someone pooped on the floor" avatar might actually be some sort of rock. Or tar, maybe.
Anyway, yours always reminded me (in a good way) of a claritin commercial. Which is ironic, because you were the one talking about antihistamines.

Anyway, farewell.

"someone pooped on the floor"
I know which one you're talking about, can't remember who it is though. And on a second look, it's something metal I think, don't quite remember what.
But it is something in particular, and not poop.

This is the only forum I can ever remember posting on and certainly the most interesting. My first letter is always 'a'.

No, you look real and I can handle that. I suppose its the graphics / horror type stuff that needles me. In fact I wld say that your avatar is immediate to me and real, even enjoyable. I don't get to see many human faces.

The one that looks like poop is Richard's. It's some kind of stone, agate or something. He collects such things.

I collect agate too. I have even roamed the hills for it. Perhaps its furnace slag? Your avatar is spooky.

Richardbenson says it's a 27.4 ct fire agate. You could ask him about it if you're interested.

My avatar is Marlon Brando from The Island Of Dr Moreau. He's a hero of mine.

The avatars that bother me are animated ones, flashing, jumping.
