They just adapted back to the water. Do we truly know what they looked on land the animal that they truly came from the beginning. If Ambulocetus natans are most likely the first of supposed of whales. I watch a TV program on this a while back. But it still does not go back far enough for me I need to see more fossil evidence then linking one to another be for I would believe.

I don't see why Christianity and Evolution are such opposing ideas unless one takes the Bible absolutely literally. I mean, this is a physical world. If you believe in God, why did He not invent Evolution, huh?
