I found out a few weeks ago that I'm going to be an aunt. My sister is getting married this weekend and she is also pregnant. That's all fine and dandy and I'm very excited for her.

However, my mom shared a little tidbit of information with me. Three weeks before my sister told my parents that she was pregnant (perhaps even before she knew) my dad had a dream where it was just me. I was standing there, holding a baby girl that he knew was my sister's baby and I was saying to it, "Don't worry, I will take care of you forever."

Sends chills down my spine...

Wow, that's beyond what words can explain.

But hey, good to know in his dream he thought of the aunt (you) saying those nice words to your niece :)

dreams like that-surprisingly often bring good omens
dreams are never as they appear
you know, I had a dream where my best friend died
and she got tickets to one of her favorite bands 2 days later
and then got tickets to her favorite singer in the world
she's been having a good summer
dream was a good omen

Jews like Joseph did though, but by the Holy Spirit.

Anyway. The day before I was fired and banned from Wal-Mart and cut off from the McDonald's in Wal-Mart, I had a dream.

I dreamed that I had caught two fish. One a piranha and the other that was good to eat. The piranha bit me and jumped off the dock, and the other fish followed it. God then told me that the piranha was Wal-Mart and the other fish was McDonald's. 30 minutes later, I got a call and then showed up and signed the papers.
