Its a free FPS available to linux, windows and OSX.

I'm not much for that sort of game, but it was interesting to try. I got the same resolution/frames per second on my four year old 2.0 ghz ubuntu machine running an ati 9600xt as my windows xp intel duo 3.0 ghz running x1650. Both pegged a constant 90 frames per second.

On the old laptop (8 megs of vid ram/1.2 ghz) i got... very choppy graphics but it ran!

The xp box has 4 gigs of ddr2, the ubuntu box has 2 gigs of ddr and the laptop has 1 gig(i assume its ddr)

I havent tried it on the other two machines.

Here is the link, which I forgot earlier. http://tremulous.net/about/

My SO tried it and thought it was really hard. I never tried it because I am not very fond of 3d games.

I'll play it once in a while. I like it but it's not the greatest.
