Psychoanalytical and psychodynamic theorists have postulated that, in pathological narcissists, a grandiose false self is constructed and projected onto the social environment; the narcissist expects his or her environment to "mirror" back this image through constant praise and unflaggering admiration. The true self is whithered and repressed away. Now, I suspect most of us aren't narcissistic, and so our situations are by and large the inverse; but let's give our grandiose false selves a chance to shine, anyway!

For posts to this topic, please be sure to state an accomplishment or admirable quality about yourself. Exaggeration, devaluing the role others' played, and outright fabrication are encouraged! Don't feel ashamed. It's what narcissists do (and we're pretending to be narcissists for this thread only).

Nota bene: Do not extend the narcissism to a callous attitude towards other people who have posted here. This is just for boasting.

P.S.: I do not have a boast of my own to share.

Wait, you don't think any of us are narcisstic?
Why do I take every chance I get to stand in front of the mirror and admire my reflection then?

That didn't sound as deep as I expected.

Don't you mean Chico And The Man? Gotta love '70s TV flashbacks.

Sorry, haven't heard of it, but it does sound quite interes... wait, we're being narcissistic here. Hem, lowly mortal. People of my breeeding do not watch this so called television box stuff the lower class is so very hypnotised by.

And the last fish I caught was that big.

I am too humble to recite my achievements. Much humbler than those who would list them. As a matter of fact, I am the humblest person any one has ever met.

I am the wisest woman you've ever met; I am the kindest soul with whom you've connected; I have the bravest heart that you've ever seen and you've never met anyone as positive as I am sometimes. I'm the funniest woman that you've ever known, and I'm the most gorgeous woman that you've ever known.

Or maybe I'm jsut the most fanatical Alanis Morisette Fan on WP.

Either way.

I'm never late! I'm just too good for deadlines! In fact, they are more like weakened-vital-signs-lines than deadlines.

My brilliance will not be confined by the linear construct of time!

I can simply walk into Mordor. I'm also allowed to fight in the war room.

When I'm not impersonating a Greek god, I'm Asoir of Asgard. I hang out with the Aesir and hit on the valykrie women. I am a great and reknowned warrior of the Asgard. . . . .

You guys know that I was being serious in my earlier post?

Since I know that I'm better than everybody anywhen, I don't see a need to demonstrate it with idle boasts.
