doesn't contradict my statement. Palin never successfully banned any books as mayor because the librarian flatly refused her. She tried to have the librarian fired for 'lack of loyalty,' (since when is 'toady of the mayor' a qualification of being librarian?), but had her reinstated the next day when the librarian's public support was too high.
