I think your it. er, in it, I mean. It's cyber. You could probably google and find a 'meetup'; social group, ect; but it isn't the functioning of the site to dictate those..

Hows the fire?

I'm curious about this because I live in Southern California. There's a fire? Oh great, I don't want to look it up right now.
What about this meet-up?

You know, I'm late on this, I don't check back like I should. But, no, there isn't a fire right now, except that the economy is self-combusting. But maybe this will help, albeit belatedly. There is a Meet-up for Aspies and Autistic people in Los Angeles, and also many other cities. I haven't gone yet. I'm not big on meetings but I do want to go eventually. They usually hold them on Sunday, once a month, somewhere in LA. Look at the Meet-up site and query for ASpergers. (The Meet-up Site is a site that helps people organize meetings for their group. You can start your own meeting or join anyone else's. The list seems to be endless and it's international.)

If anyone finds out where the details of the next meet-up, would you please notify me in a PM?

As long as it isn't a cover for some flakey religion, multi-level marketing scheme, or fringe medical treament, I'm all for it.

This might help: This a public site like Myspace etc. You can check out the details and see if you want to join and then go if you like.
