Anyone else a fan? Yes, he writes for adolescents, but I think he'll be a favorite of mine till I die. His books have this wonderful way of making you hate humanity and yourself, and desperate to read another book by him at the same time. The first book I read by him was "I Am The Cheese" and it's a good starter, but man, they're pretty much all awesome (though, sadly, I think there may be some I haven't read).

I hated the ending of The Choclate War (I can get not having a happy ending but that doesnt mean having the worst possible ending. Havent been able to read any of his other books since.

All his books have the worst possible ending. That's why I love them so much. They can really rip your heart out!

Yes, but nevertheless, Robert Cormier is an excellent writer. My having problems does not change that.

But it doesnt put some crediability issues on your opinion :-p.

I remember reading I Am the Cheese back in middle school. Man... what a mind-fuck. But a good one.

Not really he has problems too (no offense ghotistix.)
