Well, good thing everything turned out okay...

I think you're right, Flutter, about the thickness of the hair and it being right by your nose. I've been thinking of having some stuff done, especially the underarms. The hair on my legs gets finer the older I get, so that's a non-issue. I don't know about my lip...I had waxing done and by a very good esthetist, but I still got a terrible rash.

What research I have done on laser hair removal made me decide to keep shaving and sugaring. It is not permanent for most people. Regular treatments are required. The hair grows back.

You have to weigh the costs and time involved for hair removal treatments. I can't afford laser so I have to spend much time using other methods of hair removal.

If the smell bothers you, ask the technician what other people do about it. You might be able to hold a perfumed cloth under your nose during the procedure. This worked very well for a college field trip to a sewage plant.
