It looks like Master of Puppets is the clear winner here right now. That was my pick.

Ride the Lightning. My favorite three albums though are Kill Em' All, Ride the Lightning, and Master of Puppets. Probably their 3 highlights from a musical standpoint.

Man, not many people chose Kill 'Em All. The Four Horseman is still my all time favorite Metallica song. "Death! Deliverance, for you for sure. There's nothing you can do!"

I used to be a huge Metallica fan as a teenager. I liked pretty much everything they released including load and some of reload... even when all my metal friends started hating on it.

Master of Puppet is my favorite. The Master of Puppets song itself is on of my all time favorite songs.

It was a toss up between Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets. Have to go with Master of Puppets on the grounds of Sanitarium.

Metallica wasn't very good, ever. Dark Angel and the first 2 Nuclear Assualt albums were much better than the garbage metallica released. Exodus was also a good band. Oh, and gotta throw in some Metal Church

Gotta say Death Magnetic. I've played the hell out of it since I've got it. I love all the other albums, but have never enjoyed them as much as this. Before my favorite was either ...And Justice For All or Kill 'Em All. Also have a strong liking for St. Anger.
