Does age make a difference here?

i don't think so. i have noticed that on other forums people seem more invested in age differences. Or maybe their interests change more with age. i can't figure it out. here i feel like it doesn't matter, while in other places i feel like a little kid.
what do you think?

It really doesn't matter to Me what anybody age is. Age is in the mind even when the body ages.

Age is pretty much irrelevant to me. If a person is intelligent as has interests in common with me, I'll be likely to enjoy talking to them.

Age never made a difference to me. I can enjoy someone's company whether they're 15 or 51. It's substance that matters to me. I used to get flack when I was a kid for playing with others who were much younger and I couldn't understand why it was such a big deal.

Age seems to matter less here than some other forums. Personally, I attribute this to the tendancy we have to be atypically developed socially and accept people at face value.

I'm just too lazy to keep track of who's what age, so it doesn't for me out of sheer apathy.

I think it does a little bit, but a lot less than usual. I'm still thrown off a bit when someone who seems to be writing on the level of a 24-year-old turns out to be 16! and vice versa sometimes too

I think it might have something to do with the 'emotional age development' that DeepThought and some others discussed before... maybe our differences with society due to our AS cause us to stop developing emotionally when we reach certain impassable social hurdles in life

I'm going to go out on a limb here, because I think everybody will agree with me on this, but once people turn 30, they should all be summarily executed, just like in the hilarious documentary Logan's Run.

That way, no one would worry about communication between young people and heaps old people. We'd instead worry about communication between young people and slightly older young people.

I'm used to this from other forums I've been to. Often the idiots turn out to be in their thirties, and people generally assume me to be older than I am.


I have different levels of emotional, chronologial, and intellectual age.

Emotionally I'm not more than 12, chronologically I'm 17, don't know my intellectual age since adults are so different. Range from imbeciles to Einstein.
