The first thing I noticed in that ad is the wheat. Milk no longer seems like food to me, since I went off it so long ago (except when it's an ingredient in other sinfuls e.g. cake when I'm on a binge). But wheat (and other starches) are an ongoing problem for me, because the indigestion isn't quite so spectacular, so I push my luck more.

Basically, if your body says it's food, it's food, and if your body says it isn't food, it isn't food. With me, I had to choose between ideology and health, and health won.

Are PETA starting to look like a big joke to everyone yet?

Is this just a massive case of semantics and selective editing?

After all, studies have linked all sorts of things to all sorts of other things all the time. The question is HOW

As for PETA .. words fail me to describe my scorn.

I could link the video game pong with lettuce if I really tried.

Good one! You need to start that thread!

See...

Smart, not obnoxious, and a vegetarian. It does happen.

Having drawn attention to that however, I think we should look into starting a class-action law suit against PETA.

First, they treat autism as a bad thing, and second, they start whining about milk doing tons of bad things, which, in reality, they don't do.
Milksucks.com is a ploy.

Here is the study from PETA

It is based on assumptions and generalizations.
