oH, mY!..... My first 3 children, I delivered completely natural, no pain relievers, no needles, just toughed it out.. For the last 2 children, I had epidurals because I wasn't ready for the pain ..When you need it , you better get it, because you must be ready mentally, physically, and emotionally to endure the many hours of labor and "the hurricane smashing within"( as how I term labor"...It is so hard to go natural, but I felt like a real woman for going through with it, as women have done for centuries...for those who will need an epidural, you had better not move, because I had terrible, terrible headaches afterwards from the shot. That was horrible.

that is poor, being denied pain relief because there are not enough staff around.
and how can midwives be expected to attend to 3 women in labour at once!! !! !!
it doesn't matter to me whether a woman chooses to have the shot or not, but she should have access to it.
