Next time you hear or think of a phrase that would make a good band name, post it here. I'll start. This one inspired by a visitor in my kitchen:

The interesting part is trying to imagine what prompted the phrases in the first place.

Here's one:

When I was a little kid, I liked the phrase "foo fighters" and thought it would make a good band name (I got it from a U.F.O. book). Kinda funny that it was chosen by Dave Grohl, not to mention that it turned out to be one of my favorite bands. I liked "vertical horizon" too- I used it in a short story which started with "I awoke to a vertical horizon". Not soon after, the band Vertical Horizon got popular and I was like, "Damn! They stole my band name!" Once again, I liked this band as well, so I forgave them.

I now realize that I have no musical talent, so it is futile to come up with band names. Although I have come up with a few lasting good ones, but I'm going to keep them private. Just in case.
