It's been a long day nad I want to take a nice hott shower before the Thanksgiving festivities start tomorrow. so I head up the stairs and announce "I'm taking a shower!" and my mom says "You do know your brother's friend is over don't you?" and I'm like no I didn't know I just embarrassed myself, and my mom is like "I didn't think you would be taking a shower this late!" it's 11 at night, and yeah, I want to take a shower. I didn't think he would be having friends over this late. if he wants his friends over he cn have them at his dorm room not here!

It's alright. I don't mean to be rude, but your brother doesn't have to tell you when his friends are over. I don't think you should be embarrassed about not knowing that he was there, though.

Can someone explain me why you can't take a shower if your brother's friend is over? I didn't get that part.

Ok, I'm interested why you felt embarrassed about wanting to take a shower at 11:00 when your brother had a friend over.

I tend to feel quite uncomfortable when somebody new is in my home space. Not to be presumptuous, but I am curious if your feeling is related to something like that?

As long as their's a curtain, I could care less who is over or even in the bathroom with me.

I get very agitated when strangers are in my house!
