What proof is there that god exists? - The US Supreme Court (consisting of nine rational lawyers) would not grant non-profit status to non-profit religions like Scientology, Mormonism, Hinduism, or Buddhism if God did not exist, would they? Also, the word God is found in a dictionary between the letters F and H. If God was not real, why would God be listed in a dictionary designed to give readers knowledge? What further proof (such as blind faith) is needed to prove that God exists? Politicians need to wear religion on their sleeves to get elected president of the United States - God must exist to get people elected president in Washington, D.C. What more convincing reason does one need to believe that God is real? Words: Inductive logic, deductive logic, red herrings, scientific thinking, political correctness, revenues generated from mandatory (religious taxation) collection plate passing fund raising ceremonies, the Golden Calf (the Almighty Dollar) is real, Bill Maher, Religulous (movie), threats of being excommunicated or tortured or burned at the stake for heresy, Spanish Inquisition, Monty Python, etc.

Millions, if not billions of people believe in God so that when there are declarations that God is dead, people start clapping they way they do for Tinkerbell when she was in trouble and she seems to have survived. We haven't heard much from God these days.

there's an old saying that Faith is believing what you know ain't true. God may exist but odds are he was created by weak humans wanting to explain death and ease their minds remember 100,000 people die a day from age alone so that helps explain why humans chose to believe, harshly and wrongly judge others even though they are no different, kill, and die for a figment of their imagination, yeah and they call us 'abnormal' yeah right.
